    I'm Dave VanEpps, a leader, storyteller, and athlete. I’m also on a lifelong mission to positively impact the life of every person I meet!


    In the business world, I’m a passionate Chief Operating Officer of a high-tech consulting firm, and I’ve been recognized as one of the "Top 10 Visionary Tech Leaders Shaping the Future in 2024" by CIO Views Magazine. In the non-profit sector, I serve as the Chairman of the Board for the Southeast Michigan Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  


    At work, my passion is empowering and igniting elite technologists & leaders to become exceptional, driving speed to value, and building amazing teams and energizing cultures.


    As a side hobby, I’m an author and speaker.  I love motivating and inspiring others to transform and reinvent themselves, and I’m happy to meet you no matter where you are in your life’s journey.


    As an athlete, I’ve completed the Ironman Triathlon 8 times, as well as over a dozen marathons and ultramarathons.


    My greatest passion is my family.  I love being a husband to a wonderful wife, a father to amazing children and their spouses, and a grandparent to my growing family.


    My transformational life journey has involved personal, professional, and spiritual transformation and reinvention, and I can help you with yours!

    The New Rules of Leadership

    Leadership isn't a position or a title, it's an attitude.  Leaders have the skills, knowledge, and abilities to perform the task at hand, but they also have incredible vision and an ability to communicate that vision to others. Leaders know where they're going in life, and they know their three P's (Purpose, Priorities, and Passion).  They also know how to apply their three T's (Time, Talent, and Treasure) to those three P's to be as efficient as possible in their humble pursuit of greatness.

    Based on their lack of material wealth, I expected Haitians to be depressed and downtrodden.  Instead, I learned a few life lessons about finding joy in all circumstances.  Some people choose to be victims of their circumstances, while others use adversity as a way to rise above and beyond. The winners in life find ways to adapt, adopt, and overcome all circumstances to prevail.
